Both of the photographs above were taken in 1995 when Carre was just over 12 months old.

Carre had a very successful Show career, albeit quite short.  She played an important part in helping The Shadeds to gain GCCF Championship status, by gaining 1 Merit Certificate, 7 Intermediate Certificates, 7 Best of Breeds and was Best in Show Oriental Adult at the Wyvern Cat Club show in August 1995.

Carre has a wonderfully shaded coat but as she is not a silver cat, the overall appearance is not as spectacular as that of some of her silver counterparts. In particular her famous son, Grand Champion and Supreme Grand Premier Chelanca Lord Gyllene. (His photograph can be seen on my Home Page).  For this reason, she is affectionately known by some members of my family as "The Queen Mum".
